What is Yoga?
On a basic level, in a Yoga class a student will be guided through a series of movements, stretches and calming exercises that are beneficial to the body, mind, and spirit.
Not only is yoga proven to assist with increased physical fitness, decreased stress levels and mental clarity, but it is an opportunity to connect deeper into who you are! Yoga means union. And for many, it is the union of the body, the mind, and the spirit.
My Yoga History
My passion is Bhakti Yoga, the yoga of devotion. In my yoga classes I offer union with spirit, and open the space for students to explore their spirituality, along with movement. In my classes you will have the opportunity for physical challenge, healing and connecting deeply within yourself. I have been practicing Yoga since 2007, a Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance, and in November 2015, completed the Yandara Yoga Teacher training held in Baja Mexico. I later continued my studies in India, where I lived and studied at the mouth of the Ganga river, outside of Rishikesh India.

MORNING MEDS & FLOW
Awaken your body and mind in a soul-filled way. This is an inspiring and intentional way to begin your day, focusing on expansion of the body and spirit as we infuse movement with conscious intention.
Starting with a guided meditation practice, then moving into a shorter Vinyasa flow, finally ending in with restorative and intention-based postures...a great class if you're interested in mediation along with movement.
Qigong is an ancient Chinese health care system that integrates physical postures, breathing techniques and focused intention. In this basic Qigong–Yoga infusion course, we combine gentle yoga movements, with the energy components of Qigong such as body tapping, working with the energy meridians in the body, and Qigong stretching.
This in a course that is sure to boost your energy and vitality.
No experience in Yoga or Qigong or prior knowledge is required for this class.
In Yin Yoga we find a way to deepen and balance our practice. Yin offers holding active postures for longer periods of time then an average Vinayasa class. In Yin we ease into postures, and hold in a meditative way.
This is beneficial for flexibility, range-of-motion, restoration of tissue and relaxation. This practice will leave you feeling balanced, renewed, and rejuvenated.
Yin is essential to every Yoga practice. This class is great for beginners or advanced students to deepen their practice.
